Bus Transfers To and From Riga Airport

The public transport bus stop at Riga International Airport is located 300 meters from the arrival terminal’s exit beyond the car park. Follow the Public Transport signs from the terminal.

Tickets for the buses can be purchased in the ticket vending machine at the bus stop, at the Airport’s Information Office located in Arrivals E, in the “Narvesen” shops located on both floors of the terminal or directly from the driver (single ticket).

The buses depart between 1 and 4 times an hour between the hours of 5:00 and 00:00.

The ride between Riga International Airport and the Central Railway Station takes approximately 30 minutes, but it is always wise to calculate for longer rather than shorter.

This bus departs in both directions regularly during the morning hours of 6:00 and 11:00, and during the afternoon and early evening hours of 13:30 and 19:30.

During these two time periods you won’t have to wait long for a bus as they depart between one and five times every hour.

This bus line only runs on weekdays and not on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

The trip between the Riga Airport and Riga Central Railway station is approximately 30 minutes.

This bus route is only available on weekdays as these buses do not run on weekends and bank holidays.

The time table is divided into two sections, a morning and an afternoon/early evening section with no buses departing during the middle of the day.

Buses start running just after 6:30 in the morning and run until just after 11:00. They begin departing again after 15:00 and run until just before 20:00.

A one way trip between the airport and the Esplanade is approximately 40 minutes long.
